ORACLE DBA III

iHealth Technologies (iHT) is the leader in Payment Integrity services and partners with health plans to assure accurate payment of claims as it relates to clinical coding. We are looking for an Oracle Database Administrator for our corporate office located at the perimeter area in Atlanta, GA. ***Only local candidates, no relocation provided***

Responsible for the administration of Oracle databases at iHealth Technologies. Includes all aspects of Oracle DBA responsibilities including installation and configuration, performance tuning, user and security administration, maintenance and monitoring. Also includes, managing release of database code into production and development environments and the management and monitoring of technical operational processes related to Oracle databases.

REQUIREMENTS and MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience,
  • 5+ years working in Operational (Production) Oracle Database administration role. Includes Installation and Configuration, Backup and Recovery, Database Security, Performance Tuning.
  • Proficient with Oracle running on IBM AIX Production systems required. Sun Solaris preferred.
  • Experience with ASM setup, configuration, and administration. Experience using RMAN for backup and recovery.
  • Must be able to work full time onsite for at minimum of first 90 days.
  • Experience with database development or project work a plus.
  • Experience with growth and excitement of a growing company a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server a plus.
  • Professional with ability to properly handle confidential information
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education/Certification: BS in technical field --- Computer Science, Any Engineering, or Math
  • Any Master's level education a plus
  • Any certification with Oracle, DB2, MS Server, Sun, or other major vendors a
  • plus
JOB DEMANDS:
  • Must be able to sit and use a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
