SW TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER

We are looking for a SW Test Automation Engineer (Performance Testing Analyst) for our corporate office located at the perimeter area in Atlanta, GA. ***Only local candidates, no relocation provided***
Position is responsible for designing and executing automated testing on ICMS and ICRS (iHealth) internal/external software applications to ensure product quality, usability and integrity.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop test plans, cases, scenarios and scripts to thoroughly test ICMS and ICRS, internal / external application changes and new products.
- Analyze and troubleshoot erroneous results, determine the root causes and suggest a solution.
- Conduct Regression Testing of applications on a scheduled basis to ensure product integrity.
- Work closely with software development team (Business Analysts, Developers and Project Managers) to ensure timely and effective testing effort.
- Participate on project teams to understand and influence software requirements to build effective test plans and improve end-product usability.
- Identify and track testing issues in change tracking tool (SPR & STI) to resolve software defects and issues.
- Develop automated regression test scripts through the use of Quality Test Pro (QTP).

- Participate in other testing and process improvement projects, as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 Year Degree. (preferred)
- Expert level of knowledge with automated testing tools, i.e. Quick Test Pro,
- Load Runner, Quality Center.
- 10 years of software testing experience.
- 2+ years experience in Load / Performance Testing
- 5+ years testing applications in Java, Unix, and Oracle
- Detailed approach to and vast experience in testing process definition and documentation
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot problems and find root causes.
- Ability to learn and quickly absorb new material.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations with ease.
- Team player with strong desire to assist and share knowledge.
- Ability to articulate and transfer knowledge in informal and formal settings.
- Complete understanding of software development life cycle management practices and methodologies with emphasis on software defect identification.
